What is the Industrial Formula of Enamel Paints ?

what is the industrial formula of enamel paints ? Which chemicals are to be mixed in what ratio to make the enamel paint ? Please give me the exact formula.What is the Industrial Formula of Enamel Paints ?
You must be joking, the formula is extremely complex and mostly covered by confidentiality. To give you an example you may be looking at the addition of 20 or so ingredients at various stages of the process. As well as this there is about 3 stages to the manufacturing process.

The exact formula will depend on what the Enamel paint will be used for;

interior

exterior

Substrate wall door, wood metal etc

Method of application, spray, brush, curtain etc

Colour

Longevity

Solvent of water based

etc

Briefly,

Pigment, solvent (sometimes water), sometimes resin (alkyd)dispersant added and milled to grind pigment

This is stabilised; generally by adding more resin.

Then this is letdown with additives more resin and solvent plus an accelerant/drier (often a metal naphanate/ octoate etc). Additives will vary based on the specs of the paint but can include thickeners, waxes, rheology agents, UV agents, stabilisers, etc.

If you give more specific info may be able to help further
