I have found very little if any free reference material on the Internet. Companies posting such items are likely in violation of copyrights. In many cases, free materials are actually advertisements for a specific product.
There are many good guides for industrial finishing and not particularly expensive either. Keep in mind during your search that paint is a finish. ASME and other non-profit engineering organizations tend to maintain decent stores with current information. The other thing to search for is free finishing publications. I receive several of the latter at work that often have good articles on new finishing techniques, equipment, and even question and answer articles. Magazines are about as close as you can get to for free. Also, I think the online content is easier to gain free access.
